Intermediate Classes

This class is an exciting and creative way for young talent to begin the process of learning the fundamental elements of performance. The class includes ‘Being yourself’ in audition rooms, understanding scripts and characters, confidence in front of the camera, understanding your natural performer instinct, how to learn scripts, reviewing footage, Improvisation, Accent and dialect training, original content creation, Audition Reels and (most importantly) enhancing a natural passion and energy for the Industry – in a fun, exciting and youthful way.

Teen Classes

In this class the actors will begin to experience a more professional approach to their training and performances. With a stronger focus on the development of techniques and individual skill sets, the actors are then given the opportunities to explore and analyze this potential in professional situations and settings. The class will include script analysis, character creation and development, genre technique and understanding, Accent and Dialect training, vocal technique, Professional ‘mock’ auditions/castings, audition technique, Personal development, Industry mentoring and Audition Reels. this class has been created to push the actors in all areas of their performance and to build strong foundations for professional work in the Industry.

Young Adult Classes

Although all studio classes are all created so that every student can grow, learn, and develop their specific skill sets, this class takes the actors to the ‘next level’ of training. Classes includes Script analysis, Character creation and development, Genre technique and understanding, Accent and Dialect training, Vocal technique, Professional ‘mock’ auditions/castings, Audition technique, Individual talent study, Personal development, Industry mentoring and Audition Reels. This class nurtures both the personal and professional aspects of each artist and provides the support and specific training needed to then continue into the Industry.

Adult Classes

We know that there is a demand and interest for our Adult classes and we aim to launch both a Beginners and Advanced course during the year. Watch This Space!!!

Community Classes

In partnerships with NDIS providers, Support Coordinators, Support Workers and individual clients and participants, these popular classes introduce the fundamental elements of acting and screen performance in an innovative, exciting, fun, unique and professional way.
As with all the classes at the studio, the class numbers remain small so that we can deliver a more personal and individualized training. The classes include understanding scripts and characters, confidence in front of the camera, understanding your natural performer instinct, how to learn and remember scripts and dialogue, reviewing footage, Improvisation, original content creation and identifying the new possibilities, potential and skill sets for each individual actor.

Industry Training Program for Artsist With Disability

This program has been written to specifically deliver ‘next level’ training for artists who identify as disabled. Each graduating participant will be ‘Industry ready’ at the end of the course – which will open up many opportunities for potential professional work.

Over the course of the year, the chosen artists will develop and strengthen their acting, performance skills, script writing and audition skills, while putting together their ‘Professional Acting Toolkit’. This will include Film production (professional short film), Professional photo shoot (CV /Folio preparation), Live theatre experiences and visits, Guest artists; Directors, Casting Directors, Musicians, etc, Audition reels for agents, Showcase scenes. Opportunity for live performance and Individual Industry Mentoring. The multitude of skills that will be learnt throughout the year will be the introduction into a variety of potential work opportunities.

Holiday Workshops

Our Holiday Workshops are designed and created due to what is Industry relevant and what our community submits.

We have held workshops that focus on areas of specialist Industry training e.g. Scene Intensive Workshops, Documentary Film making, Stunt Training, Screen Tests Reels, Podcast Creation/Production, Recording your own EP, Voice Over Workshops and we host an Annual Shoot Out Festival where all films are premiered at Event Cinemas.

Screentest Reels

A Screen Test Reel can provide an actor with clear and usable example of their work and acting abilities. Shot under the same guidelines and environment as a professional screentest, these reels are recognized both Nationally and Internationally as Industry standard examples of actors work if the actor has not yet curated any or enough professional work to make a completed showreel. These classes will include Research and workshopping characters/scenes/genres, identifying individual strength and ability, rehearsal of chosen scenes (character analysis, accents, genre, emotional reactions, etc) and then the professional shoot and delivery of the Screen Test Reel.
